Delivery

Delivery is by Tail lift lorry or dedicated vehicle & is charged at cost, it will require someone present to unload. Packaging is either an enclosed box or open frame. Please consider how you will handle this once off loaded. A delivery could weigh up to 120Kg.

 

 

Returns Policy - Returns Form & Returns Number
Returns must be made with a completed returns form. These can be requested by email. You must email sales@spiralhardware.co.uk and request an RMA number so that we know to expect your return. You agree that if you send a return to us without an RMA form you will pay a £25 administration fee to cover the extra work involved in processing your return.

 

 

Returns Policy - Faulty Goods
We will refund the cost of the goods and the delivery charge, please contact sales@spiralhardware.co.uk to arrange for the goods to be collected. All returns are tested and if the item proves not to be faulty when tested then only the product value will be refunded. You will be charged the actual cost of the delivery and the collection.

 

For large pallet deliveries please be aware that the costs could be considerably higher than you were charged for delivery.

 

 

Checking Goods For Damage and Notifying Spiral Hardware
For small item deliveries that arrive with carriers you agree to open all boxes and thoroughly check the goods for damage on the day of delivery and notify us of any damage within 3 days of the delivery. If we are not notified of damage within 3 days we are unable to claim from either the manufacturer or the carrier. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us within 3 days.

 

For bulky deliveries that arrive on pallets you agree to check the goods for damage before signing the delivery note. If you sign for the goods, even if you write the words "Unchecked" or similar on the delivery note, then you are accepting that the goods arrived in good condition and later claims for damages will not be considered. If the driver refuses to wait while you check the goods then you must refuse to accept the delivery and email sales@spiralhardware.co.uk with the details as soon as possible. If someone else is signing for the goods on your behalf you agree to advise them that the goods must be checked and you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage if they sign on your behalf and fail to check. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of you or your agent accepting goods and signing a delivery note without thoroughly checking the goods for damage.

 

We DO NOT accept returns of nor refund any bespoke glass! We will replace any that should arrive damaged providing we receive notification and photographic evidence within 24 hours!

 

 

Returns Policy - Changed Your Mind?
If you change your mind about the product when you receive it you can inform us within 10 days of delivery that you would like to return the item for a refund. It is your responsibility to ensure that returned goods reach us in good condition.

For large pallet deliveries please be aware that the costs to send them back could  be considerably higher than you were charged for delivery. We advise that you take out carrier insurance because if the goods do not arrive in re-saleable condition no refund will be made.

 

PLEASE DO NOT WRITE OUR ADDRESS ALL OVER THE PRODUCT PACKAGING. Please use a label. If the packaging is defaced the product is no longer in a re-saleable condition and you will NOT BE REFUNDED.
